Hi! I'm Laken, a new photographer in Christiansburg, VA. I went to college for my undergraduate at Mary Baldwin College and my masters at Radford University. I am married to my wonderful husband, Brack. We have an energetic 2-year old daughter. I am a 4th grade teacher and love spending my week days educating children to be successful in life. Throughout my life thus far, I have always loved taking pictures of my family and capturing the memories in photo books that will last a lifetime. After getting married and having my daughter, I realized that my passion for photography is more than just my personal family photos. I love looking at ways to pose families, different settings to take pictures, and now, how to edit pictures to create a the perfect lighting!
